Candlelighters provides FREE emotional, educational and practical support to families of children with cancer receiving treatment at the Children's Cancer Hospital at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children's Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center AND now at the Texas Children's West Campus and campus in The Woodlands.
Founded by families facing childhood cancer, Candlelighters vision for the past 26 years has remained the same: "We have faced childhood cancer and we want to make the journey easier for those who come after us."
The numbers we serve are great, and we are continuously in need of funds to provide for these families who are facing one of life's hardes battles. It is our greatest honor privelage to bring this type of comfort to childhood cancer families when stress is so high and they feel so helpless.
